NYC CENTURY RIDE

I rode the NYC CENTURY RIDE its a 100 mile bike ride around the great city and boroughs of NY. It actually was 104 miles, and when i found out about the extra miles we were at 96 miles and thinking 4 more. The last eight was a taint killer. 3 bananas, 2 clif bars, 1 orange, 2 peanut butter & banana sandwiches(Elvis style), 1 big swede, and 1 flat around the 90 mile mark got me thru the day. It was easier then working in a crazy busy restaurant/bar on the boardwalk in the summer, so in a way ive been training for this ride all summer.

work for food

Every other week me and Jenna (or is it Jenna and I) work for food. Its an organic produce co-op called PURPLE DRAGON. We wake up early get a delivery, split it up, pack it up, eat that shit up. We receive a really nice discount. So nice that if you ask me how much of a discount we get I'll say "don't worry bout it" These days it takes a lot longer to make a dollar, so who wants to spend it on things like food or health care. Now if i can find a Whopper or Big Mac co-op I'll be all set.

This vid kind of morphed into a totally different feeling during editing. The original intention was more to be a "get your ass out and ride". I think it turned more into solitude, last man on earth kind of feel to it.
